Thofe I do syng my hert dothe wepe
hyt vaylyth not syng to fayne gladnys
sorow hath percyd my hart so depe
that my lyffe ys but heuynes
ffor my cause ys Remedylesse
well may ye thenke then my syngyng
cannot A vale my lamentyng
But kepe hyt styll yn Remembruance
withj my vnvrid desteny
settyng lesse by the worldys chaunce
syth troth was me no remedy
there ys not more but hertley
all that here thys song
ben ye mery though I haue wrong
