Þe pope haþ graunt a ful fayre pardon
To al þo þat seyeþ þis matens with good devocion
On þer…remission
So þat he be clene shreþuen with very contrition
God sende us lyues fode & in heuyn a place
Þrouh godes grace
Note: Third line includes a crossing out of ‘to pardon’, and a smudging of the ink which makes one word indecipherable.
