Remember man þe greyt preeminence
Given unto þe by God omnipotente
Betuen þe and angells is lytyl difference
And all thinge erthly to thee obedyente
Bothe byrde and beist under þe fyrmanent
Say what excuse mayste thou lay or finde
Since þou art maid by god so excellente
Butte that þou aughteste again to hym be kinde
