Subjects: Passion, meditations on; Christ, Passion of
Versification: — eight-line

Manuscript Witnesses:
1.Source: London, British Library Royal 17 C.XVII, ff. 97ra-97va
First Lines:
Lord þi flesche was mekyl adryde
A gan þat þu suld pyned be
Of þe mownt of caluery
Wen þou preyed to þi fadyr only…
Last Lines:
…Þi mercy es to all fre
Swete ihesu warne it me noght
In þat blys þat I owght be
To wylke þu as my saule dere boght
Note: Follows 2827 with no break in text. The final word of the first line has a ‘y’ written over another letter; since a rubricated bracket links the end of this line with the end of the third, perhaps the original inscription was intended to be altered to ‘adry’?
