I beseche all peple fer and ner
To pray for me Thomas Amys hertely
Which gaf a Mesbook and made this chapel here
And a sewt of blewe Damask also gaf I
of God Mo CCCCoXL and Vo yer
I the seed Thomas decesed verily
And the IIII day of Auguste was beried here
On hoos sowle God have mercy
