þat out of frensch tunge taken is & in englissch set
for þo þat connen non frensch & of vnderstondynge beþ y let
þis sentence for to knowe þat here soules ne falle in þe deueles n[et]
Preyenge to alle þo þat þis litel tretys lokeþ and ret
for þe lady þat þis dede make þat here soule mowe fare þe bet
Al so for þe wrytere þat þis wrot and to gedere þe lettres schet
