lokes þe blynde hore
Note: Written on one line, with ‘hopes’ written over ‘lokes’ (as alternative reading?); trans. Latin ‘Semper cecus equus peius videt & puto peius / Ambulat omnis equus semper peius puto cecus / ffur furatur equum suspenditur & manet equum’ with ‘salit’ over first ‘peius’.
